Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
BLAST MADE (the "Company") recognises the importance of personal information and handles and protects it appropriately as set out below. This policy explains how personal information is protected and handled on our website and at our branches. If you believe this policy has not been observed, please contact us using the details below.
1. Our commitment
We respect and comply with the laws and social norms concerning personal information, and strive to handle and protect it appropriately.
2. Definition of personal information
Personal information means information provided by you — such as your name, date of birth, telephone number, employer and other attributes, email address, address, details of a prospective joint guarantor and information relating to insurance contracts — that, alone or in combination, can identify you as an individual.
3. Collection, use and provision
We collect personal information by lawful means, publish, notify or state the purpose of use, and do not handle it beyond that purpose without your consent. When we provide or disclose personal information to a third party, we follow the procedures required by law.
4. Purposes of use
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes.
- (1) Performing contracts for real estate sales, leasing, brokerage, management and other transactions, and providing related information and services
- (2) Providing personal information to third parties to the extent necessary to achieve purpose (1)
- (3) Soliciting life and non-life insurance, concluding and administering insurance contracts, and handling claim payments
- (4) Performing contracts for products we handle and providing related information and services
- (5) Sales activities by post, telephone, email and other means for the products, information and services in (1), (3) and (4); marketing activities such as surveys; and research such as customer trend analysis and product development. We will stop providing information and services on your request.
- (6) Responding to enquiries and consultations, and recruitment screening and communication with applicants
5. Provision to third parties
Personal information we hold may be provided to third parties in the following cases.
- (1) With your consent
- (2) Where required by law
- (3) Where necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent
- (4) Where especially necessary to improve public health or promote the healthy development of children and it is difficult to obtain your consent
- (5) Where we need to cooperate with a national or local government body, or a party entrusted by it, in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining your consent could impede those duties
- (6) Where we disclose information, to the extent necessary, to trusted contractors bound by confidentiality agreements in order to achieve the purposes of use
- (7) Where, with your prior consent, we provide information to the underwriting insurer to the extent necessary to apply for and administer insurance contracts
When property information is provided to third parties for advertising: (1) Advertised property information includes the property type, location, price, transport access, land and building area, floor plan, facilities, photos and maps, and does not include personal names. (2) It is provided to prospective counterparties, buyers and tenants directly through registration with the designated real estate information network, the internet, property magazines, flyers and other media, or indirectly through other real estate companies (including advertising by other companies with our consent). Once a contract is concluded, we promptly report the contract date and price to the media operators and stop the advertisement. (3) Contract information may be compiled, processed or analysed by the designated network and private media operators and used as reference for price assessments in other transactions.
6. Security measures
We manage personal information carefully and take necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss, alteration and leakage.
7. Outsourcing
We may outsource the handling of personal information. In that case we select contractors that take sufficient measures to protect personal information and supervise them as necessary and appropriate.
8. Disclosure, correction and other requests
When you ask us to disclose, correct or stop using personal information we manage, we will respond promptly and to a reasonable extent after confirming your identity.
9. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to third-party websites, including our branches' Instagram, TikTok and LINE accounts. We are not responsible for privacy protection on those websites.
10. Use of an analytics tool
To improve this website and to understand which paths lead to enquiries, we use the analytics tool Umami (provided by Umami Software, Inc.).
- Information collected: pages viewed, date and time of viewing, referrer, device and browser type, screen size, language setting, the fact that a phone, LINE or enquiry button was pressed and where, the fact that a store's Instagram, TikTok or LINE link was pressed (with its location, the store and the type of social media), and the options selected in the enquiry form (such as inquiry type, area, layout, budget range, timing and reason for moving; free-text content is not included)
- We do not use cookies. Information that identifies an individual, such as name, phone number, email address or the free-text content of the enquiry form, is not sent to the analytics tool.
- The information is processed statistically and used, in a form that does not identify individuals, to improve the website and for our marketing (such as planning store promotions, advertising and social media posts). The data is stored on servers within the European Union.
