How to think
How to think about insurance
Rather than choosing insurance straight away, we start by checking the cover you already have.
Public cover
What national schemes cover, such as the high-cost medical expense benefit and survivors' and disability pensions.
Employer schemes and savings
What your employer's schemes (such as leave allowances or payments for illness or injury) and your savings can cover.
Insurance for the gaps
Insurance covers only what is still missing. If you are already covered, there is no need to add insurance.

Q&A
Common questions
What is insurance, anyway?
Many people pool money, and it is paid to those who meet with misfortune. It prepares you for large costs that are hard to cover alone.
Do I have to take out life insurance?
No law requires you to take out life insurance. Public cover and savings may be enough for some needs. We start by checking together whether you need it.
What is public cover?
Cover from national schemes, such as the high-cost medical expense benefit (a monthly cap on what you pay for insured treatment; hospital meals and private-room charges are not included) and survivors' and disability pensions. We check these first.
What decides the premium?
Mainly age, sex, the amount and length of cover, and health. The same cover costs differently depending on the age you join.
I don't know what my current insurance covers.
That is common. With your policy document (or contract statement), we check together what you are covered for, until when and how much.
Will reviewing my insurance lower the premium?
Not necessarily. Premiums often rise with age, and depending on your health you may not be able to take out a new policy. You can also keep your current contract and review riders and similar options.
If I consult you, do I have to sign up?
No. It's fine to just ask. We will not ask you to sign up on the spot.
Can I ask about anything?
Yes. For example: "What is this rider?", "How is it different from my employer's scheme?", or "What about the policy my family took out for me?" Ask us anything.
